Education Committees
C.R.E.A.T.E . stands for Curriculum, Research, Educate, Adopt, Trial, and Evaluate. The purpose of this committee is to advise the Director of Learning Services on curriculum and instructional resource decisions. There is an elementary and secondary version of the C.R.E.A.T.E. committee which meets bi-weekly and is co-facilitated by the Director of Learning Services and a Teacher Leader. AI Task Force
The purpose of this committee is to develop guidance regarding the appropriate use of Generative AI for staff and students. This includes the development of an AI Policy Manual and AI use statements for syllabi. The committee also reviews AI platform requests for district adoption. The committee meets monthly and is facilitated by the Technology Integration Specialist under the guidance of the Director of Learning Services.
BRIDGE Team
The BRIDGE team consists of the Director of Learning Services, instructional coaches, Wellness Coordinator, Engagement Coordinator, the Oakland Schools Technology Integration Specialist, and the Data/Assessment/MTSS Coordinator. The purpose of this committee is to coordinate partnerships and project collaborations among the various positions in Clarenceville. The committee meets monthly and is facilitated by the Director of Learning Services.
Cultivating Continuous Improvement (CCI)
The focus of the CCI team is to conduct an in-depth analysis and plan for continuous improvement of Tier 1 instruction in the areas of math and literacy. The current team, now in year two, consists of the Director of Learning Services, two elementary principals, the elementary and middle school instructional coaches, and two elementary interventionists - one for reading and one for math. The team is supported by literacy and math consultants from Oakland Schools and meets five times a year.
